Why I made Body Hunee

I wanted a product that was fun to apply and also felt amazing on my skin. I also wanted it to do more than one job, so Body Hunee works as a bronzer, a moisturizer, and a serum, all in one jar.

I kept the formula as simple as I could and left out as many synthetic ingredients as possible without compromising things like shelf life, so every batch stays safe and fresh.

Here is the full list of ingredients and why I chose them:

Squalane: made from olives, it is a lightweight emollient that softens skin and helps lock in moisture without feeling heavy or greasy. It is non-comedogenic, so it works for most skin types.

Jojoba oil: a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer that helps keep skin soft and balanced.

Sea buckthorn fruit oil: rich in omega fatty acids (3, 6, 7, and 9), it deeply moisturizes the skin. Its natural dark pigment also gives your skin a temporary glow.

Ubiquinone (CoQ10): a skin-conditioning antioxidant ingredient that helps protect the formula and keep skin feeling smooth and supple.

Tocopherol (vitamin E): an antioxidant that helps keep the oils fresh and leaves skin feeling soft and moisturized.

Sapogel Q: a thickening agent that gives Body Hunee its jelly texture.

Fragrance and mica: for the sweet, fruity scent and the golden shimmer. The fragrance is a natural fragrance oil, and the mica is responsibly sourced and cosmetic grade.

Propylene glycol, diazolidinyl urea, and iodopropynyl butylcarbamate: a preservative system. It is necessary in water-based products to keep them safe from bacteria and mold.
